Merchant Assistants serve as the point of contact for stores and vendors in regard to ordering and delivering of products. They also serve as the point of contact between DSM, GPM, and GPM Assistant, and they partner with GPM and GPM Assistants to resolve store and vendor issues. They work closely with the Atlanta merchandising staff to gain an understanding of strategic decisions to facilitate information sharing with the stores. They also provide administrative support for DSM and perform clerical duties.
